I’m having second thoughts on upgrading my netbook to Windows 7. I can get the $30 copy because I’m in college, but I don’t know if it’s really a good idea to upgrade my netbook designed for Windows XP. I’m just worried that some programs that I use might not work, and I might not be able to get all the drivers I need. So I just want to ask those who upgraded to Windows 7: is it worth it?
For those who upgraded to Windows 7: How is it?

Windows 7 is awesome. I’m not sure how well it would run on a netbook, but I’ve seen other people running Win 7 on their netbook so it’s really up to you.

its awesome! the speed of the computer is amazing. its so easy to use. lots of new features. you can have your background change pictures like a slide show. i actually think its faster than xp. the boot screen is awesome. boot up in 30 seconds. shuts down in 10! and i only have 1 gig of ram.it makes vista look like a pile of (you know what i mean).

IT IS OKAY SO FAR.
I have had it installed for couple hours now. So far all programs and drivers work. Even my McAfee which did not work on the beta version.
But I miss the fish that was on the beta version screen.
